Nusa Dua Climbing

We did not know what we were walking into into or what we were seeing. With Bathers on our guide “the crocodile hunter” sang and took us to the murky waters of the river. We swam hiked battled the currents almost drowned laughed the entire time - the banyon was piquereque but honestly the experience was so fun and entertaining. The current is strong and fun to battle although I am short and i couldnt reach the bottom and needed my partner to help me . We did the short hike and let the current tale us back to the start. Need to be able bodied not for the old or small children if the water is strong..have a sense of humour. Highly enjoyed.

Brilliant experience - we were fortunate to go after rains, so the water level was high with a strong current, which made it more challenging. Beautiful place to hike, brilliant guides who were on hand to help navigate the trickier parts. Our driver was great too. Best thing we’ve done in Bali.

We booked hidden canyon through Cool Bali and experience was great. Tosa made the day seamless and arranged the guide for the canyons which were great. Water level was high the day we went and given that most everyone stopped after first canyon (you can go up a different way then you come down ). Still was worth it for the beauty and fun. We also enjoyed getting to know Tosa and discussing Balinese culture and history. He is super informative, friendly and fun to talk to. We enjoyed him so much that we booked him for three other days including Sekumpul waterfall one day and then another day for drive from Ubud to Seminyak with stops at a temple and the Krishna mall on the way. Lastly he drove us to airport for our flight home. Recommend him highly and will use him again if we are lucky enough and to return to Bali !

Seriously, after spending a month in Bali, this place stuck with us the most. I don't usually write reviews, but I'll do it for these guys. If I could give more than 5 stars, I totally wouldFirst off, the canyon itself is super pretty. It's not crowded like Nusa Penida, for example. My wife and I went and we only met one other couple the whole time. It’s insanely cool to walk through the canyon and swim in some spots, though it's kinda risky at times, but the guide helps a lotThe guide is super nice and sweet. Sorry, I forgot his name, but I think it's Meta. He didn’t rush us and let us enjoy the nature. Especially for the husbands who get tired of taking a million pics of their wives - he offered to take my Iphone and take the pics while I chilledI would go to this place just for the lunch alone - they have gazebos on a hill with a view of the canyon, and it’s simply amazing. Plus, the food is tasty. The guys really put in effort to make it nice for the guests - there’s even a sink next to each gazebo, and the toilets and showers are super cleanThe reason why there aren’t many reviews for this tour is that they don’t force you to leave reviews like many other tours and restaurants do. This company just wants you to have a good time and doesn’t make anything uncomfortableThis was honestly the best tour we had in Bali!

We had a great trek through the Hidden Canyon. Our driver was friendly and our guides did a great job of navigating us through the canyon. They were also lots of fun and carried our bag and camera for us. Be sure to go to all three Canyons and enjoy the rope swing at the end. And, plan on getting very wet! Don’t bring anything along that can’t be submerged. You should be able to do some scrambling and climbing to complete this hike, and I recommend grippy water shoes.

The transport guy (Wayan) was so nice! The tour guide who took us through the canyon was great; friendly & really helpful! He took heaps of photos for us. The tour itself was really good: loved the hiking through the stream & the cave & the rope swing at the end. Thoroughly recommended.

This was such an amazing activity and a highlight of the holiday and one of the most fun things I’ve done! A real adventure with swimming, climbing, wading through currents and swinging on rope swings. Was so much fun! I would say you should be a confident swimmer, sometimes the current was strong but our tour guide did pull me through so I didn’t have to worry too much. Would definitely recommend.

Challenging scramble through beautiful landscape. Well organised with friendly, knowledgeable and capable guide and driver. Nice lunch afterwards. Highly recommended

I came to this Canyon so unprepared because I did not even see in the internet how this looks like. I just ask my driver to bring me somewhere that is quite adventurous and he brought me here 😊.The trek is not easy but it was really so rewarding. I paid 100K IDR in the entrance and they told me it is 50% off this time because of the pandemic. After the trip I gave 50K tip to my guide who is so helpful in making sure that I will be safe during the trek.

Booked this tour without transport although the standard package is without transport. The 2 hour trek through this awesome canyon was worth every minute. The package come with lunch at a local resturant. The resturant has great selections. Highly recommended.

We are here for a week, first thing we did was mount batur sunrise trek an already epic journey and night to sunrise views. Hence a little sore we decided to just do the canyon tour only rather than bundle with other activities the same day... Our tour and driver Putu Mika with tosa team was extremely friendly and knowing. but back to why you read this review...This hidden canyon is just surreal, knowing you are walking within walls that echo 1000 years of water forming the beautiful formations is beyond words.You have to see it in person as you turn the corner to each canyon...my teen boy 14 and teen girl 18, along with their "not too old" parents, would we do it again? YES and perhaps take proper dslr pictures rather than mostly camera phone pics... as we were just in awe and rather look at the surroundings then take too many pictures...the guides are all experienced and know which path is safest for the day, our guide Pak Dewa took great cRe of me and the family, even took my phone the whole trek and took obviously alot of action shots... and the mandatory posing shots...If you have doubt about going, I would say dont pass this up (if you've never seen canyons formed by water...) just listen and follow your guide and you will be fine.Water shoes, normal shoes, sandals are great but bare footed is the way to go, like using your bare hands, you can feel the ground any make better decisions with your feet placement.On arrival there is a big clean carpark and a very modern building with good toilets, shower and lockers.You get a small bottle of water before you start and at the end of it all, towels to shower before you leave. Our tour included a paid selected lunch at Warung Legong... very good atmosphere, service and food. We just topped up cos we wanted Juices, and some appetizers that wasnt part of the fixed selection.Overall F U N T A S T I C... Indiana Jones vibe and one of the more easier on the body places to visit for great unforgettable Instagram photos...Enjoy if you go and be safe!

Nice adventure in the canyon, sometimes a bit challenging, but overall we enjoyed a lot! We had a really nice guide, who helped us to overcome all the difficult parts of canyon.

This review is to give a shout out to the amazing local guide that we had for exploring the hidden canyon. Komang Ben was kind-hearted and had a quiet confidence about him. He was always making sure that my friend and I were safe - even if it meant going at a slower pace or patiently helping us through hard sections. Whenever I was nervous he would remind me to smile and enjoy the experience. The canyon was beautiful but Komang Ben made the whole adventure so much more memorable for us. I would highly recommend anyone to ask specifically for this local tour guide.

Every part of it was well planned. Putu mika picked us up from the resort and communicated well with the pick up via whatsapp. We did a canyon hike with a local tour guide Komang Ben who was very considerate and helped us along the way to get through the entire hike. He was also very fun and outgoing which made the hike extra enjoyable and entertaining! Oh and to make it even better, our local guide was an amazing videographer and photographer for us - knew how to use all our phone settings to take the best shots!

Me and my girlfriend did a combined tour. First we did the Hidden Canyon Tour and then the Rafting Tour. Both were adventures and very beautiful. The guides were friendly and funny and helped us if we needed something. The nature at both tours is really astonishing. The transport from the hotel and back worked perfectly and we had a nice conversation with our friendly driver. The rafting tour can be done easily, also if you’re rafting the first time. We can highly recommend both trips.
